THE RÉPERTOIRES SCIENCES:
THE CREATION OF A RECRUITMENT TOOL IN THE QUÉBEC HEALTH FIELD
HISTORY
The Répertoires Sciences were launched in 2000 by Daniel Boisvert and Michel Carle, recently deceased. Today, two magazines are published: Sciences et soins infirmiers and Sciences, santé et services sociaux.
The Répertoire Sciences et soins infirmiers
During recent years, the Répertoire Sciences et soins infirmiers has become an indispensable recruitment tool in the Québec health field. The magazine is distributed with our own hands to all the nursing students in each of the following colleges and universities all across Québec province. This year, we will publish the 10th edition of this large-scale magazine!
The Répertoire Sciences, santé et services sociaux
As for the Répertoire Sciences, santé et services sociaux, it was published under two titles during its first four years of existence: Sciences et techniques de la santé and Sciences et professionnels de réadaptation et d'intervention. In 2010, we will publish the 5th edition of the magazine under its new name.
This magazine is handed to all the students of health care techniques and occupations in Quebec, including medical archives, audiology, criminology, medical electrophysiology, occupational therapy, nutrition, orthophony, physiotherapy, psychoeducation, psychology, rehabilitation person, midwifery, sexology, biomedical analysis, radiology, physical rehabilitation, social work, inhalotherapy, intervention in crime and social work.
THE WEB: A NEW ENVIRONMENT FOR THE RÉPERTOIRES SCIENCES
In March 2009, we launched the internet portal of the Répertoires Sciences at www.lesrepertoires.com and its Web sites at www.emploisensoinsinfirmiers.com and www.emploisensante.com. We are particularly proud to have developed a Web tool that gives students and the health care network employees the chance to access plenty of information on more than 90 health care facilities.
The posting of jobs and the virtual magazine allow students and health care professionals to access a large variety of available job offers and to apply online. They can also register to receive an alert when a position that meets their criteria becomes available. For more details, please feel free to contact us!
Over the years, we have adapted our magazines to fit the lastest trends in recruitment so that all the students of Québec can access, free of charge, a magazine that allows them to find an establishment that is perfect for them.
And in response to popular request, we launched this Web site!
